Mat Pilates is a floor-based class which uses no equipment or small apparatus (swiss ball, resistance bands and weights) to provide a full-body workout. As a body-weight focused exercise, there is a strong emphasis on controlled movement to build flexibility, strength, and greater awareness of how your body moves. With maximum class sizes of only 10, you will get the attention you deserve from our dedicated instructors, and avoid getting lost in the crowd. Best of all, sessions start from under $7 for a class (purchased in an unlimited monthly pack).

What should I wear?
Pilates on the Coast has a relaxed atmosphere, so please just wear what you are comfortable in. However, Vanessa does recommend wearing formfitting clothes, this way she can see your movements better. For general hygiene socks and towels are a must!
How many classes a week should I attend?
We recommend at least once a week to maintain your fitness; a second class in the week will help build your strength. And by attending three class you’ll see results faster.
Can I still attend Pilates classes when I am pregnant?
Yes, please consult with Vanessa before booking in a class with Pilates on the Coast.
